Riding Workshop

Our Riding Workshop is perfect for kids of all experience levels—whether they're meeting a horse for the very first time or already have some riding experience. In a fun, safe, and supportive environment, riders learn horse care, grooming, tacking up, riding, and barn safety while building confidence, skills, and horsemanship.

Workshops are offered year-round on Saturdays from 1:00–4:00 PM. During the summer and school vacation weeks, we also offer weekday sessions Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, giving families even more opportunities to get started. No prior horse experience is necessary—just come dressed to ride and ready to have fun!

What Should My Child Wear?

No special riding clothes are required! We want every child to feel comfortable and ready to have fun.

Please have your child wear: Comfortable long pants, such as stretchy jeans, leggings, or athletic pants.

Flat-soled, closed-toe shoes with a small heel if possible. Shoes should allow the ankle to flex comfortably while riding. Please avoid sneakers with thick, bulky soles, sandals, Crocs, or boots with large platforms.

A weather-appropriate shirt that allows for easy movement. Dress in layers on cooler days.

For safety, long hair should be tied back, and we recommend avoiding loose jewelry.

We provide riding helmets for all participants, so there's no need to bring your own unless you prefer to.
